Summary:
This report gives an update on disability communities' participation in the "New Directions" BC health reform process. Concludes that initial concerns about the "New Directions" process, i.e. that it would prioritize cutting costs over consumer concerns, were well founded. Notes that the most important recommendations from the Report of the Royal Commission on Health Care and Costs have been ignored. Focuses on trying to change the "New Directions" process.
