This is a newsletter from the Woodwards Squat. This issue consists of three letters from A. Cameron Ward and Company, lawyers representing the squat, to Tom Zworski (of the City of Vancouver), George Abbott (Minister of Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services), and Premier Gordon Campbell and Vancouver Mayor Philip Owens. These letter address (respectively) the potential enforcement of City's Street and Traffic By-law, the publicly agreed upon meeting concerning the Downtown Eastside, and a meeting to address solutions to the housing crisis and poverty in Vancouver. There is also a statement by the Finance Committee and a list of upcoming events.
