Getting it Together - Together

Brief paper written by a past president of the Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users (VANDU). The author describes his own history of addiction and how he became involved with VANDU. He describes how VANDU provides an opportunity for social interaction; access to information and resources; outreach programs and a volunteer program. Most importantly, VANDU provides an opportunity for individual users to have a strong and collective voice in order to advocate for the rights of drug users and change public attitudes.
