A manual targeted primarily at rehabilitation professionals working with people with HIV, and also at other HIV caregivers. Topics discussed include the basics of HIV; social aspects of living with HIV; complementary therapies; dual diagnosis of HIV and addiction; rehabilitation services and interventions for adults, children and infants; preventive and vocational rehabilitation; and exercise and nutrition as components of preventive rehabilitation. A list of organizations and resources, and basic information on occupational exposure to HIV, are included as appendices.
