Summary: 
Report summarizing information on illicit drug use in Metropolitan Toronto, obtained from a wide variety of data sources. Data and statistics about cocaine, heroin, cannabis, tranquillizers, hallucinogens, solvents and stimulants) are presented in descriptive and graph form, with regard to police seizures; drug purity; drug treatment; and drug deaths, from the late 1980s to mid-1990s. Additional sections of the report provide information on needle exchange programs, other drug programs, and newborns affected by maternal drug use. A series of tables conclude the report, summarizing illicit drug data by year and in relation to different populations (adults, students, street youth, etc).
