Brochure describing in plain language the results of the first large-scale HIV/AIDS vaccine research study (the AIDSVAX trial). It was created due to public confusion about the meaning of the results. It explains that the vaccine did not work. It describes the research study, in terms of how AIDSVAX was tested; who were the trial volunteers; future AIDSVAX research; and new types of vaccines currently under development.
