Bringing National and International Law to Bear in the Fight Against HIV/AIDS

The document is a workplan that highlights past projects of the HIV/AIDS Legal Network and outlines activities for the year 2005 - 2006. The workplan is organized into sections. The first section, research, policy development and advocacy, includes projects related to: promoting a rights-based approach to HIV/AIDS; stigma and discrimination; sex work; prisons; injection drug use; criminal law; global access to treatment; HIV vaccines and human rights; disability; women; HIV testing; and immigration. The second section, Capacity building, community mobilization and technical support, relates information about projects that build and support community-based organizations; legal profession; technical support and communications; and organizational planning and development.
