Taking Charge of Your Health

A pamphlet outlining recommended annual health care exams and tests for women, as well as routine tests and exams women should ask for at different stages of life. Written by the Vancouver Women's Health Collective, the pamphlet outlines which services are covered by the Medical Services Plan (MSP), and which services are not covered. The pamphlet begins with gender-based analysis of the BC health care system, the BC Medical Services Plan (MSP), and the restrictions placed on women as a result of cuts to health care and MSP. It also includes suggestions for preventative self-care and resources available for women at the VWHC, online and in the community.
