Introduction to the Vancouver Women's Health Collective Health Files

An instruction sheet to using the health files of the Vancouver Women's Health Collective (VWHC). The health files are made up of a collection of information for women seeking health information, so that women have access to resources in order to make informed choices about their health. The resource is made available by the VWHC because they want to challenge the unquestioning trust women often place in the hands of medical professionals, despite many of the harmful and unnecessary drugs regularly prescribed to women. The instruction sheet claims that actively looking up information is akin to having control and decision-making abilities over our own health care.
