Article arguing that there is a positive correlation between living in Vancouver's West Side and having higher health. The study was conducted over a three year period from 1990-1993. The study found that the most significant advantage was that babies born within the West Side had a higher birth weight. Conversely, the study showed that residents of the Downtown Eastside, Mount Pleasant and Grandview areas suffered the most health problems.
