A three-page document describing the model of self-help and patient-education used by the Vancouver Women's Health Collective (VWHC) in operating their women's self-help clinic, their counselling services, and their self-educational health groups. Analysis of the traditional health system, and it's patient/doctor power imbalance is criticized and a model based on comprehensive, preventative care for women is advocated.
