This document provides women with information to help with the process of finding a therapist. It includes questions one might ask oneself in deciding to seek out a therapist, where one can find a therapist, the different types of therapists available and the different qualifications and costs associated with different titles (such as psychiatrist, psychologist, counsellor). The document describes what one can expect upon seeing a therapist, and addresses inappropriate or offensive behaviour and ways of lodging formal complaints.
