52% Coalition: Women Vote! May 17 2005

A guide produced by the 52% Coalition, an ad hoc, non-partisan coalition of organizations and individuals committed to raising the profile of women's issues on the provincial election agenda in BC. The guide provides information on issues related to women, as well as questions women can ask of party candidates in order to find out where they stand, and whether they are committed to working for women's well-being and equality. The topics under consideration include: primary and secondary education, post-secondary education, PharmaCare, privatization of health services, health care workers, the Medical Services Plan (MSP), legal aid, women's centres, reproductive health services, social assistance, adult basic education, senior women, and childcare.
