Publication type:
Research Paper / Project Report
Summary:
This paper reports on key findings from public meetings held in the Downtown Eastside during September 1999, where input from community into the draft Vancouver Agreement was given. Community input emphasized the need for action rather than more discussion and cynicism at the government's ability to fund new and existing programs. Community members also emphasized the need for their input into decision-making as equal partners.
