Summary:
Expresses concern at the plan to convert two downtown Vancouver hotels into social housing for people with mental health issues, people with HIV/AIDS, and others. Concern is that the community was not consulted and a perceived "we know what is best for the community, we don't need to consult" attitude toward community development. Also requests that employment opportunities arising from the re-development be made available to community residents.
