Summary:
Presents research exploring participatory housing management in non-profit housing. Includes a historical survey of Canadian social housing policy. Uses case studies of Red Door and Entre Nous Femmes Housing Society to demonstrate that resident participation in housing management improves quality of life of residents and highlight the need for women to be part of all aspects of housing. Discusses policy implications of these findings.
