Remake of the COPE E-lert

This is a circulated letter to the COPE city council written by the CRAB Park Squatters. It describes the relationship between the City Council, Parks Board, and the CRAB Park Squatters, as well as the actions taken by COPE in regards to housing and advocacy for the poor locally and provincially. It states the need for citizen involvement and consultation with the squatters to address issues of homelessness and housing, rather than increased policing and an injunction against the squatters. It also poses questions about COPE's lack of consultation, lack of solidarity in campaigning for government policy on homelessness, and their perpetuation of marginalization. It asks for a formal meeting between COPE and the CRAB Park Squatters.
