The Woodwards 58

This is a report posted on Vancouver IndyMedia of the court processing of the 58 people arrested from inside the Woodwards building during the squat. It describes their lack of legal council prior to their appearance in court, differential treatment of native leaders in the group, confiscation of personal effects, and the conditions of their release, which includes not entering the lands again or encouraging others to do so, keeping the peace, and not obstructing or interfering with the Plaintiff's use of the land. It announces a community picnic to be held in support of the squatters and social housing. There are posted comments in response to the report.
