This is a newsletter of the Anti-Poverty Committee, an anti-capitalist and anti-oppression organization fighting for the rights of poor and working people in Vancouver, BC. This issue includes the articles: ""Stan Hagen Runs from APC Welcoming Committee"" (on BC Liberal Minister of Human Resources being chased out of the DTES by the APC Welcoming Committee), ""Stop Ministry's Racist Review"" (on the Ministry of Human Resources review of non-citizen income assistance recipients), and ""APC Struggles Alongside Refugees Against Racial Profiling"" (on a demonstration for Mourad Kinneche and other asylum seekers to prevent federal policies of detention and deportation). It also announces the upcoming demonstration ""Safe Street: A Dead End"" and that their office has moved. It states their basis of unity and lists ways to get involved through meetings and donations.
