This is a newsletter of the Anti-Poverty Committee, an anti-capitalist and anti-oppression organization fighting for the rights of poor and working people in Vancouver, BC. This issue includes the articles: ""The Active Community Presence Campaign"" (on the organizing against the two year time limit on welfare assistance), ""Elk Creek Update: Press Release from 'The Elk Creek Action Group'"" (on the logging of protected forests in the Chilliwack area), and ""City Raids Creekside Squat!"" (on the slow eviction of the tent city by city workers and police). It also states their basis of unity, ways to get involved through meetings and donations, and announces the 'Take the Streets!' and 'Refuse to Retreat Conference' events. This is an incomplete newsletter.
