This is a newsletter of the Anti-Poverty Committee, an anti-capitalist and anti-oppression organization fighting for the rights of poor and working people in Vancouver, BC. This issue includes the articles: ""Tent City: The Retreat is Over"" (on the Victory Square Squat that demands social housing and an end to the two year time limit on income assistance), ""City Tries to Fence in Homelessness"" (on the City of Vancouver's fencing of Victory Square in an attempt to keep squatters out of the park), ""APC Housing Demands,"" ""Welfare is a Right: APC Welfare Campaign"" (on a forum discussing cuts to welfare), ""APC Casework Update"" (which calls for volunteers), ""Police Raid Safe Injection Site"" (on the Vancouver Police Department's anti-harm reduction stance), and a comic on people's ineligibility for welfare. It also states their basis of unity and ways to get involved through meetings and donations.
