This is a newsletter from the Woodwards Squat. This issue contains two reports, one from the Woodwards Legal Defense Committee and the other from the Pivot Legal Society, concerning the charges of civil contempt against 54 Woodwards' squatters who were arrested and charged during the September evictions. These explain that the BC Housing Corporation dropped all charges and were order to pay the legal costs of the squatters and compensation. Further legal action is being pursued by the squatters in relation to the evictions.
