Summary:
This is an account of the events surrounding the police eviction of the Woodwards squat on September 21 and the setting up of the tent-city the following day. It discusses preparations for the eviction, the violent police actions and arrests during the eviction, and the squatters appearance in court the following day. It also describes the squatters prior to and following the eviction, and the determination to fight against the BC Liberals for social housing.
