Shannon's Press Release (email)

This is an email of a press statement to be made by Shannon Bundock, an organizer with the Anti-Poverty Committee. It discusses the magnitude of the housing crisis, states that the three levels of government are responsible, and warns that vacant buildings will be squatted if governments do not develop these into social housing. This is part of the nationwide, 'Give It or Guard It' campaign that demands restoration of social housing funding, development of anti-vacancy bylaws, and rent controls, amongst others.
