"Safe Streets" A Dead End

This document describes a mass 'pan-in' organized by the Housing Action Committee, the Anti-Poverty Committee, End Legislated Poverty, amongst others, where over 100 poor people demonstrated in Gastown protesting poor bashing by businesses and government and also the potential Safe Streets Act. It describes the negative consequences of a Safe Streets Act passed in Ontario and why it needs to be fought in BC.
