Summary: 
The Millennium Assessment (MA) held a conference entitled 'Bridging Scales and Epistemologies: Linking local Knowledge and Global Science in Multi-scale Assessments. This article is a brief summary on the recently released report that the (MA) developed from the conference which examines the environment and its present conditions that have major implications for the present and future conditions of all the world's people, Indigenous ones included.
