Minister Smallwood told the workers that their concerns were valid and that the NDP government will attempt to address them either through legislation, the provincial budget or direct policy change.

Petition to Moe Sihota to make changes that would make housing more affordable. The suggested changes include abolishing security deposits, bringing back rent controls and allowing tenants to deduct the cost of necessary repairs from their rents if the landlord will not do them.
