The authors also include conclusions and recommendations for future research, ARVs, access to testing and primary health care, and substitution treatment.

The booklet is as a resource to help adults and community workers talk to children about HIV/AIDS. The booklet is not a "how to" guide but rather presents information to consider when communicating with children by posing questions like: Why Tell? Why Not Tell? Who To Tell? What to Tell? and When to Tell? The authors include quotes from parents and children throughout the booklet; a section on children's responses; information specific to communicating with teenagers; and how to disclose to other family members and friends. The booklet concludes with a list of other resources and AIDS hotline numbers listed by province.
