An assessment of volunteerism in HIV/AIDS in BC conducted by AIDS Vancouver in 2005 in order to develop an understanding of the experiences, perceptions and realities of volunteers and managers of volunteers working in AIDS services organizations. 237 volunteers were surveyed, 33 volunteers and 25 managers of volunteers participated in focus groups and recommendations were made to solidify volunteer programs and supports.
